Senior System Safety Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior System Safety Engineer will utilize a proprietary AI platform to streamline safety analyses, validate AI-generated outputs, and collaborate with product teams to enhance safety architecture for autonomous systems across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize AI-Assisted Tools to support safety assessments and streamline routine safety analyses
• Critically review and audit AI-generated safety outputs to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with standards
• Partner with the software product team to provide user feedback and shape platform features

Required Qualifications

• US Work Authorization is required; sponsorship is not available
• 4 to 10 years of dedicated system safety engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Proven experience implementing compliance frameworks such as MIL-STD 882E and ISO 26262
• Mastery of traditional and modern safety analysis techniques, including PHA, FHA, and STPA
