Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design and maintain RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with teams to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy and performance across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end development in Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
