Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Vice President of Trading & Algorithm to join their Commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and direct the energy trading function for asset optimization of merchant battery energy storage projects
- Oversee algorithmic trading and software team, implementing processes for optimizing energy revenue in Day Ahead and Real Time markets
- Lead reporting of market positions and P&L, and advise on improvements in modeling asset positions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum BA/BS in electrical engineering, economics, finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years in North American electricity and natural gas markets trading roles with increasing responsibility
- Knowledge of trading DA-RT markets in ERCOT, ISO-NE, PJM, and other RTOs
- Experience supervising and managing others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
