Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior zOS Systems Programmer to provide support for mainframe systems software projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support installation, testing, and implementation of new operating systems and software
- Monitor and tune systems software, providing problem analysis and resolution
- Collaborate with vendors and participate in technical projects related to z/OS environments
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a mainframe environment
- Advanced knowledge of z/OS, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL, and Unix System Services (USS)
- Experience with software installation within Unix System Services (USS)
- College degree preferred
- Knowledgeable in z/OS security and systems programming functions
