Software Development Manager

Job Summary

Driving the performance of a product team, the full-time Software Development Manager will manage team delivery, oversee developer growth, and collaborate with Product Management on project planning in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct frequent 1-1's and create long-term growth plans for team members
• Collaborate with Product Management on roadmap planning and resource allocation
• Staff the team with skilled developers and identify future leadership potential

Required qualifications

• Proficient in Ruby or similar object-oriented programming language
• Over 3 years of experience managing developers
• More than 7 years of software development experience
• BSc or related degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Programming
• Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum
