Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager, Software Engineering, Search.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, coach, and mentor a cross-functional team of software engineers
- Lead the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of the Cribl Search stack
- Collaborate with product management to refine and execute the Search roadmap
Required Qualifications and Education
- 4+ years of progressive management experience in a cloud-based or distributed systems environment
- Expertise in high-scale, distributed systems architecture and data processing systems
- Experience in the observability space, either as a user or builder of observability tools
- Direct experience with applications built on recent versions of node.js; TypeScript experience is a plus
- BS, Masters, or PhD in CS/EE or equivalent practical experience; 8+ years of industry experience, including 4 years in a technical leadership role
