Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of QA engineers and automation leads, the full-time Software Engineering Manager will manage end-to-end release and deployment processes across the Tax & Licensing and Short-Term Rental platforms while establishing quality metrics and fostering cross-functional partnerships in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage a consolidated Application Delivery & QA organization, overseeing both full-time employees and contractors
• Own and design a unified QA-to-release pipeline, ensuring efficient release management across multiple tech stacks
• Establish and report on delivery-performance metrics, providing visibility into release health and defect trends

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of QA leadership experience, with at least 3 years managing a QA and/or release engineering team
• Proven experience in end-to-end release management in a high-frequency release environment
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as TestCafe, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Experience implementing DORA-style delivery-performance metrics in an organization
• Familiarity with PHP/MariaDB, .NET, or Angular-based enterprise applications
