Software License Compliance Manager
Job Summary
Responsible for accurately capturing and analyzing deployed software licenses, the full-time Software License Compliance Manager will collaborate with IT, Finance, Sales, and Procurement teams to ensure customers are properly licensed according to their entitlements.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain effective relationships across diverse functions to drive collaborative efforts
- Execute tasks that produce reporting, metrics, and analyses related to software usage and entitlements
- Communicate license allocation methodologies clearly and accurately to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in software license compliance or comparable legal/compliance roles
- Extensive knowledge of software license metrics, compliance tools, and industry practices
- Familiarity with IT procurement, software licensing operations, and SAM processes
- Experience with enterprise software license agreements across various models
- Understanding of major supplier licensing terminology and deployment models
