Software Release Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Release Specialist to manage application releases in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage application releases and coordinate with engineering, build, and QA teams
- Analyze release blockers, manage dependencies, and communicate release status
- Lead Go-Live activities and ensure compliance with IT security policies and engineering guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Minimum MS in software engineering or MBA; project management certification is a plus
- 7-10 years of experience in project management and release management
- Knowledge of MS Project and project management methodologies
- Familiarity with SharePoint, ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence
- Understanding of change management processes and SOX/SOC guidelines
