Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialty Benefits Underwriting Consultant to manage underwriting, pricing, and processing accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial experience rating calculations and ongoing financial reviews
  • Validate renewals and proposals for accuracy, including utilization and experience reporting
  • Evaluate, recommend, and negotiate pricing while communicating financial positions to sales personnel

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of previous specialty underwriting experience
  • Proven intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 3+ years of experience with Risk Management (preferred)
  • 3+ years of data analysis and reporting experience (preferred)
  • 2+ years of presentation experience (preferred)
