Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Attorney for its Legal Helpline.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct legal assistance to workers facing employment issues related to pregnancy and family caregiving
• Manage and triage incoming helpline calls, ensuring timely responses and maintaining records
• Create and update legal resources and documents for workers and employers, and inform policy advocacy based on helpline insights

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• J.D. degree and admitted to practice law in any U.S. state
• 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in direct services to people in crisis
• Knowledge of employment law, particularly related to pregnancy and family caregiving
• Experience in creating educational materials and resources
• Fluency in Spanish or another language spoken by marginalized workers is a plus
