Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

To enhance the Notifications strategy, the full-time Staff Data Scientist will develop measurement frameworks, communicate actionable insights to leadership, and mentor other data scientists while working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop measurement frameworks and metrics to optimize data-driven decision making across the user journey
• Communicate recommendations to product and engineering leadership based on deep analysis of the Notifications strategy
• Mentor other data scientists, ensuring high-quality output and guiding project scope and development

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in applying scientific methods to solve real-world problems on web-scale data
• Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and experimentation
• Expertise in at least one scripting language, preferably Python or R
• Proficiency in SQL/Hive
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
