Staff Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Machine Learning Research Scientist to lead foundational ML/AI efforts aimed at optimizing mental health support services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of ML/NLP pipelines to analyze conversational data
• Perform statistical analyses and contribute to the team's scientific output
• Communicate model performance and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in computational social science, natural language processing, or related fields
• Theoretical and practical understanding of ML/AI/NLP models for structured and unstructured data
• Experience with programming languages for data manipulation and ML workflows, such as Python and SQL
• Extensive hands-on experience with various NLP techniques
• Ability to write clean and modular code maintained with version control tools
