Job Summary
A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer focused on data ingestion and complex data challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the ingestion of client data feeds, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Debug and resolve complex issues related to data feeds and code, maintaining stability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience with a focus on data ingestion pipelines
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL
- Fluency in JavaScript for job data ingestion infrastructure
- Experience with messy data feeds and cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS, GCP)
- Understanding of modern software engineering practices including CI/CD and version control
