Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Network - Edge.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop next-generation cross-region gateways and load balancers using open source technologies
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to enhance privacy, security, and DDoS solutions
- Guide software developers through project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions
Required Qualifications
- BS, MS, or Ph.D. in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 12+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure
- Experience delivering large-scale multi-year roadmaps with external dependencies
- Experience with large scale edge systems in native Public Cloud, with knowledge of Istio/Envoy preferred
- Strong ownership and experience in building and operating high-scale, distributed systems
