Job Summary
Driving technical strategy for test infrastructure, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will build and operate core test services, enhancing feedback speed and reliability while collaborating with engineering teams in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and own the technical strategy for test infrastructure across Coinbase engineering
- Build and operate core test infrastructure services, including orchestration and flaky-test detection
- Drive measurable improvements in test feedback speed and signal reliability
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in building and operating production software with distributed systems fundamentals
- Proficiency in Go or a similar programming language
- Deep experience in test infrastructure and execution at scale
- Proven experience with Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub Actions, and observability tools
- Demonstrated success in measuring platform impact and maintaining SLOs
