Job Summary
A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel to strengthen its internal legal function.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial contracts, including sales and vendor agreements
- Streamline and automate the contract negotiation process and manage legal workflows for internal clients
- Provide support on legal matters such as employment issues, investor relations, and intellectual property
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- J.D. with strong academic credentials
- Minimum of 4 years' experience at a top law firm and in-house practice, preferably in technology or SaaS
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly software/SaaS agreements
- Familiarity with privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
- Member in good standing of a State Bar, with the ability to work remotely as in-house counsel
