Job Summary

Providing administrative oversight to the medical staff, the full-time State Licensed Rehabilitation Medical Director will analyze medical review utilization data, research new medical procedures, and serve as a resource for medical policies while working remotely across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Supports operations through case review on medical and regulatory matters
• Develops claim adjudication criteria and provides input on operational policies
• Educates staff and the medical community on medical policy and program administration

Required qualifications

• Doctorate in a job-related field
• 5 years of post-graduate experience in direct patient care
• Active state medical license and current board certification in a recognized specialty
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of medical and utilization review techniques
