Strategic Initiatives Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of project managers in a remote capacity, the full-time Manager of Strategic Initiatives will oversee high-priority projects, ensuring strategic initiatives are clearly defined, effectively governed, and completed on time with measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of project managers while personally managing complex projects
• Translate executive objectives into clear project charters, scope, and governance structures for strategic initiatives
• Maintain visibility across the Strategic Initiatives portfolio, providing leadership with accurate status and delivery risk assessments

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project, program, or strategic initiative management within IT or professional services
• At least 3 years of direct people leadership experience, including coaching and developing project managers
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of concurrent initiatives with measurable outcomes
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance practices
• PMP, PgMP, CSM, or comparable certification preferred
