Structural Biologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Structural Biologist I to support the variant assessment process by collaborating with various specialists to analyze genetic variation impacts on protein structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide structural biology support for variant assessment by analyzing structure-function relationships
• Expand in-house structural databases and develop new methods for structural modeling
• Collaborate with statisticians and machine learning specialists on structural biology projects

Required Qualifications

• PhD in computational biology, structural biology, biophysics, bioinformatics, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of research and development experience in related fields
• Strong knowledge of computational structural biology theories and principles
• Proficiency in bioinformatics and structural biology software and databases
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python, R, or Bash
