Job Summary
A company is looking for a Structural Biologist I to support the variant assessment process by analyzing genetic variations and protein structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret structure-function relationships for variant assessment
- Develop new methods and protocols for structural modeling and dynamics
- Collaborate with various specialists to implement tools for clinical and genetic analysis
Required Qualifications
- PhD in computational biology, structural biology, biophysics, bioinformatics, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of research and development experience in related fields
- Strong knowledge of computational structural biology theories and principles
- Proficiency in bioinformatics and structural biology software and databases
- Familiarity with a programming or scripting language such as Python, R, or Bash
