Job Summary
A company is looking for a Support Specialist responsible for assisting primary care/case managers with non-clinical activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to newly enrolled members regarding services and equipment
- Manage and document calls to members and providers about authorizations and service requests
- Complete onboarding assessments and escalate issues requiring clinical attention
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Experience with effective verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
