Job Summary
A company is looking for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a fully remote position in the St. Matthews area of Kentucky.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in a virtual setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience working with students with visual impairments is highly preferred
- Proficiency with virtual teaching tools and technology
