Technical Data Steward

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Technical Data Steward for a contract position focused on HR data analytics, this fully remote role will manage data governance standards, oversee data quality initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize HR data assets.

Key responsibilities:

• Implement and support enterprise data governance standards, policies, and procedures
• Manage metadata, data lineage, data quality controls, and lifecycle management initiatives
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to enhance data integrity and usability

Required qualifications:

• Experience working with Oracle HCM and/or PeopleSoft data
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Data Warehousing concepts, and Power BI
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, DataBricks, ETL processes, and integration tools
• Knowledge of metadata management, lineage, cataloging, and master data management (MDM)
