Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on leader, the full-time salaried Technical Operations Manager will own the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure for a rapidly scaling AWS-native Medicare distribution platform, ensuring reliability and compliance while leveraging AI tools for operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and incident response processes
- Oversee security posture and compliance programs, including SOC 2 and HIPAA, while partnering with engineering on secure practices
- Build and lead a high-leverage team, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams on shared infrastructure needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership roles, with at least 2 years managing teams
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, networking, and serverless technologies
- Direct experience with security compliance frameworks and audits (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001)
- Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance is a strong plus
