Technical Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Project Manager to oversee IT projects within the Department of Homeland Security's Hybrid Computing Environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent IT projects and lead a matrix team in planning and execution
• Interface with clients to ensure project solutions meet requirements and manage project performance from inception to completion
• Prepare project progress reports and conduct project meetings, ensuring adherence to risk management practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 0 years of experience or a High School diploma and 4 years of experience
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust / DHS Entrance on Duty clearance
• In-depth understanding of Project Management practices and Software Development Life Cycle
• Demonstrated experience in project task management, including scheduling and resource coordination
• Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira
