Job Summary
Leading a team of Sales Engineers in a remote full-time capacity, the Technical Sales Engineering Director will translate technical capabilities into business value, partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to drive revenue and improve deal cycles.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical pre-sales function for mid-market and enterprise opportunities
- Improve win rates and sales cycle efficiency through technical excellence and support complex deals
- Build and develop a high-performing team of Sales Engineers, establishing best practices and coaching on technical and commercial skills
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Pre-Sales
- 3-5+ years of experience in a Director or senior leadership role
- Proficiency in hosting, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or developer-focused products
- Proven track record of influencing enterprise or complex deals
- Experience collaborating closely with Sales leadership in a revenue-driven environment
