Job Summary
A provider of online schooling is filling a position for a Telecommute 2018 to 2019 Middle School High School Math Teacher.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Lead students through successful course completion
- Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
- Partner with parents and colleagues to manage course goals that best benefit the individual student
Position Requirements Include:
- Travel to support students, attend meetings, and participate in school activities, open houses and orientations
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 6 months teaching experience
- Appropriate State certification and meets state’s NCLB’s Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook with the ability to learn new technology tools quickly
- Experience working with the proposed age group
- Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology
