Job Details

An environmental engineering consulting firm is in need of a Telecommute A and E Construction Project Manager.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing all aspects of a development project including scheduling, budget development and review of the construction process
  • Handling the day-to-day activities of the development of a new or renovated stand-alone retail building
  • Reviewing plans, specifications and cost estimates pre-construction

Required Skills:

  • Approximately 50% travel
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Building Sciences, Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering;  work experience in a related field can be substituted for 2 years of education
  • 5 years progressive experience with medium sized construction projects including experience handling multiple small to medium-sized projects
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of construction industry estimating programs
  • Experience managing the activities of architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors
