Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Telecommute Accounting Manager in Austin.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the indirect tax aspects of new country expansion
- Delivering timely and accurate indirect tax advice to business units
- Advising on intercompany relationships and transactions
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Tax, Legal, or Accounting
- 10 or more years of indirect tax experience
- Excellent knowledge of Sales and Use taxes as it applies in the United States
- Currently holds a similar position or is an Indirect Tax Manager/Senior Manager at an accounting firm
- Familiarity with the indirect taxation trends of the digital economy
- Strong project management and organization skills
