Job Summary
A managed healthcare and insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Actuarial Services Vice President.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Serving as resource to senior and executive management
- Estimating reserves and communicate monthly results and drivers of variance from budget/forecast to senior leadership
- Leading and managing team of 8 directs and 50+ indirects, actuaries and actuarial students of varying levels
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree
- 15+ years of actuarial experience
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare industry and trends; Medicare experience especially valuable
- FSA (or ASA with commensurate experience)
- 8+ years of leadership experience in management of various levels of staff; dynamic consultative style
