Job Summary
A personal styling service provider has an open position for a Telecommute Advanced Technical Designer.
Must be able to:
- Support multiple product categories
- Create and maintain Tech Packs for categories supported
- Leverage client feedback to establish fit consistency, determine trouble areas and implement product action plans
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Expert in Tech Pack creation and garment development comments
- 5+ years of technical design experience in the apparel industry
- Experience across multiple product categories, with expertise in at least one
- Fluent in MS Office and Adobe Illustrator with strong experience in Optitex (or comparable software)
- Experience working with factories and an understanding of production timelines, equipment and garment construction options
- Strong knowledge of textiles, pattern making, grading construction standards with a solid grasp of industry, spec and pattern terminology
