Job Summary

A global healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommute Analytics Lead Big Data Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, code, test, document and maintain Big Data solutions and rules engines
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement of existing solutions
  • Collaborate with management, quality assurance, architecture, and other development teams

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Hadoop, MapReduce, HDFS, Spark, Streaming
  • 5 or more years of previous relational database experience
  • 7 years of development experience with Java or Scala, XML, Web Services
  • 9+ years of hands-on Software Development, relational database and rules engine experience
