Job Summary
An animal-focused non-profit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Animal Relocation Veterinarian.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing primary shelter medicine support to applicant and partner shelters
- Performing site visits as a part of the Shelter Outreach team to evaluate applicants
- Providing advice on standards, quality of care, and facility use and design
Qualifications for this position include:
- Approximately 50% travel
- Current veterinary licensure in at least one state
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited veterinary college
- Three (3) years veterinary experience
- Two (2) years shelter medicine experience
- At least one (1) year working directly in or closely with a variety of sheltering organizations
