Job Summary
An online educational provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Art Substitute Teacher.
Must be able to:
- Complete all grading, generate progress reports, and conduct parent conferences
- Support the instructional program through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions
- Communicate with parents, students and other teachers on a regular basis to develop and update individualized learning plans
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Highly qualified and certified to teach art in Florida, preferably at the secondary level
- Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested
- Understanding of IEP/504 plans and how they can be implemented in a virtual setting
- Ability to work occasional evening hours, as needed, to support some families
- All other requirements necessary for this position
