Job Summary

A staffing firm is in need of a Telecommute AWS Principal Software Engineer in Salt Lake City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Solving complex engineering problems within all areas of the software development lifecycle
  • Working alongside DevOps Engineers to ensure fully automated software processes
  • Contributing to best practices for design and documentation

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Java, Javascript, Node.JS, Python, and Scala development
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, and design fundamentals
  • Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible
  • Previous experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, and AWS CodeDeploy
  • Experience within an Enterprise Cloud environment including migrations or modernization of applications
