Job Summary

A file-sharing software company is in need of a Telecommute Backend PHP Developer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Creating elegant, efficient and maintainable software
  • Solving complex architectural challenges when implementing new features
  • Integrating with databases, file systems, cloud services when delivering solutions

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or in related discipline
  • 4 or more years of professional software engineering experience
  • 3 years experience in web app development
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTTP protocol, XML, REST
  • 3+ years in PHP development
  • Strong knowledge of Object Oriented programming, design patterns etc
