Job Summary
A language services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Bilingual Chamorro and English Interpreter.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Receiving client-calls and answering in a professional manner
- Rendering correct concepts and meanings between Chamorro and English
- Providing clear and accurate renditions with no additions or omissions
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Native, or near native, fluency in Chamorro and English
- Completion of High school education
- Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, and to act as a cultural broker
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminology
