A translation services company is seeking a Telecommute Bilingual Kanjobal Interpreter in San Diego.
Must be able to:
- Provide translation in Kanjobal and English for clients
- Facilitate interpretation in a variety of subjects: medical, social, and legal
- Receive incoming calls in a calm voice
Qualifications for this position include:
- Be fluent in both English and the target language
- Have strong verbal communication skills in both languages
- Be familiar with note-taking and memory techniques
- Professional and courteous behavior
- Be accustomed with the consecutive interpretation process
- A landline phone is required to accept calls
