Job Summary

A travel commerce platform is seeking a Telecommute Business Development Director for the East Coast Region.

Must be able to:

  • Set the strategic direction and execution of the assigned territory
  • Identify growth and increased bookings opportunities
  • Lead a team of business development professionals

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelors Degree in related concentration. Will consider industry sales leadership experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience in travel or travel distribution or strong understanding of the travel content distribution ecosystem (Travel Agency, GDS, or corporate travel department)
  • 10+ years of experience leading sales organizations with experience in travel commerce experience or Hospitality solutions within hotel and car verticals
  • Knowledge working with Business Intelligence tools to drive sales analytics
  • Engaging public speaker, able to present to all levels and drive the message home
  • Experience in working in a technology platform environments
