Job Summary

A staffing agency is filling a position for a Telecommute Care Coordinator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Performing initial outbound calls to members
  • Assisting with soliciting clinical and non-clinical information
  • Processing and/or maintaining monthly reporting responsibilities

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 1 year experience working for a health insurance plan as a care coordinator, referral coordinator or similar role
  • Basic knowledge of community resources and Medicare/Medicaid regulations and medical terminology
  • Strong computer technical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated through written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
