Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Telecommute Care Coordinator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Performing initial outbound calls to members
- Assisting with soliciting clinical and non-clinical information
- Processing and/or maintaining monthly reporting responsibilities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 1 year experience working for a health insurance plan as a care coordinator, referral coordinator or similar role
- Basic knowledge of community resources and Medicare/Medicaid regulations and medical terminology
- Strong computer technical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated through written and verbal communication
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
