Job Summary

A staffing firm is in need of a Telecommute Ceph Storage Engineer in Austin.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintaining clear, technical and concise bug documentation
  • Analyzing and participating on upstream development against current customer reported defects
  • Troubleshooting customer problems

Qualifications Include:

  • Be able to travel internationally up to 10% of work time for team meetings, events and conferences
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent STEM degree
  • Strong experience with Ceph object storage and architecture
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Software Engineer
  • Strong development level experience with C, C and Python
  • Experience with OpenStack and/or other Cloud technologies
