Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Certified Medical Coder IV.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Determining appropriate ICD/CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures
- Abstracting data elements
- Keeping informed of the changes/updates in the ICD/CPT
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 4 years inpatient coding experience
- Crosstrained in at least two of the following: inpatient, outpatient surgery/GI lab/bedded outpatients
- RHIA, RHIT, CPC, COC, CCSP or CCS required
- Advanced encoder and computer skills
