Job Summary
An online school has an open position for a Telecommute Certified Teacher in Gainesville.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the instructional program with synchronous web conferencing sessions and asynchronous instruction
- Managing a homeroom of students
- Developing a general knowledge of the entire program’s K-10 curriculum
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel 15-20% for school-related business
- Highly qualified and certified to teach in Florida appropriate to subject area
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
