Job Summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Telecommute Check Point Engineer in Raleigh.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Leading and supporting metrics for all Check Point Solutions on R77 and R80 platforms
• Troubleshooting new and existing Check Point installations
• Designing, implementing, supporting and upgrading Smartcenters and Provider-1

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Some travel required
• B.S. in IT, MIS, CS, EE, Computer Engineering or equivalent related experience
• 5 years of experience with TCP/IP protocol, switching and routing
• 5 years of experience in a Firewall engineering and support position
• 3 years of experience with Check Point Firewalls including Smartcenter and Provider-1 environments
• Experience with multiple Check Point software versions including R77 and R80
• Experience with Check Point VSX and other firewall virtualization and multi-context architecture
• Expert level of Check Point troubleshooting and debugging procedures
