Job Summary

A not-for-profit health benefits organization is filling a position for a Telecommute Clinical Assistant in Chattanooga.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Screen incoming calls and/or faxes or other digital formats
• Receive, investigate and resolve customer inquiries
• Search for and key appropriate diagnosis and /or procedure code

Position Requirements Include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year - Customer service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of Utilization Management
• Knowledge and understanding of Medical terminology
• Coding experience to include: ICD-9-CM, CPT, HCPCS and UB-92 coding
