Job Summary
A payment services company is filling a position for a Telecommute Clinical Consultant II.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Collecting, collating and articulating the client’s clinical and payment policies
- Assisting the Clinical Content Team with research of new trends and applications
- Responding to client inquiries in a timely manner in compliance with policy and procedures
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel approximately up to 10% of the time (likely less)
- Active professional license as an RN (BSN preferred), or Bachelor’s in Healthcare field, or relative experience
- Minimum of 3 years clinical coding experience, preferable in a payer setting
- Proven competence as Clinical Consultant I or equivalent expertise/skill
- Familiarity with claims payment and reimbursement methodologies
- CPC or equivalent certification
