Job Summary

A wellness services company is in need of a Telecommute Clinical Copy Editor - Contract.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Conduct fact-checking of materials to verify accuracy of information, data, and claims
• Prepare and format drafts to hand off to our production team
• Work with lead editors to maintain style guide and brand standards across all published pieces

Required Skills:

• Minimum of two to four years of editing/proofreading experience at a digital publishing company
• Experience working in the healthcare sector, either in a clinical setting or healthcare journalism
• Superior command of the English language, not limited to spelling, grammar, and usage
• Working knowledge of AP Stylebook, AMA Manual of Style, and/or The Chicago Manual of Style
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to meet quick deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
