Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing reviews remotely on various patients and units prior to final billing step
- Performing retrospective reviews on specific accounts, DRGs, or patient types
- Acting as Project Lead during engagements as required by management/practice
Position Requirements Include:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- CDI certified with 5+ years of experience working as a CDI Specialist
- Coding experience
- 5 years of clinical experience in Med/Surg acute care
- Strong clinical knowledge in PEPPER data, revenue integrity software and data analysis
