Job Summary
A healthcare nonprofit is filling a position for a Telecommute Clinical Documentation Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitating concurrent documentation of the medical record
- Identifying complications and co-morbid conditions
- Ensuring clinical documentation is accurate and compliant
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Associate’s level degree in Nursing
- Active RN license in good standing
- Three (3) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
- OR 1 or more year experience as a Clinical Documentation Specialist in an acute care setting
- Thorough clinical knowledge of disease processes, pathophysiology and pharmacology
